In this Episode, Dwayne and Chris are joined by Patrick Roanhouse of the Plan8 Podcasst. It’s all about Tech and Society– Literally. While law enforcement’s been using video as evidence in crimes for years, how does the flipside work in an age where every cell phone is a video camera, especially when social media allows these videos to easily be displayed for all eyes to see. The Freedom of Information Act is being usurped by WikiLeaks, a Web 2.0 strategy which allows anyone to distribute ‘secret data, and as technology moves citizens move from consumers to prosumers, large organizations like BP have to think twice before they attempt to fool the public with doctored propogandic images of their clean-up efforts in the Gulf. All right here, where we focus on how technology impacts our lives: The Symbiotek.

Hey guys, great show. Just thought I should let you know that there are a few audio problems in the final podcast that are a bit distracting.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I edited the show, and while I think it’s overall better than my first attempt, I’m going to be practicing the skill (offline) so that when next I edit, you won’t have those problems. We’re recording tonight and thankfully the audio will be massaged by Devindra’s practiced hand.
Thanks again and feel free to hop on iTunes and rate the show!
